NU SEDS participated in The Digital Almaty International forum
On February 2-3, the NU SEDS, jointly with the ISSAI and our students participated in The Digital Almaty International forum.
Digital Almaty is the largest Tech event that annually engages business representatives, international experts, and government agencies striving to expand the IT industry and create innovations.
More than 30 000 visitors were counted over 2 days, while a significant number of them were undergraduate students who demonstrated high interest in the School’s postgraduate programs. The NU SEDS representatives advised them on the program requirements, curriculums, admissions process, student life, and support at the campus.
The ISSAI members presented the “Industrial Safety using AR” project along with other current scientific projects.
Moreover, during the event, the SEDS Master’s students Azim Dukendirov and Shyngys Dauletbayev presented the project “Gait Rehabilitation using Exoskeleton Assisted Technology (GREAT)” supervised by Prof. Prashant Jamwal. The project presentation was a great success; the team was awarded the Grant of 200 000 USD for its implementation.
Congratulations to Azim, Shyngys, and Professor Prashant Jamwal on this outstanding achievement!
