NU SEDS professors named “Best Researchers 2022”
State prizes were awarded to 50 Kazakhstani science workers, among whom three scientists of the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences of Nazarbayev University (NU SEDS) received awards.
The 2022 Best Researcher Award’s receivers:
– Almas Shintemirov, Associate professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering department;
– Galymzhan Nauryzbayev, Assistant professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering department;
– Yerbol Sarbassov, Assistant professor, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department.
The award, established by the Kazakh Ministry of Science and Higher Education, is aimed to support and encourage scientists, and workers in the field of science, who made a significant contribution to the development of science and technology in the country.
In total, 468 applications from Kazakh scientific and educational institutions in 7 directions were received for participation in the contest.
