The winners of the 2020 NU Teaching Awards are determined. We are proud to announce that 2 professors of the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences became the winners of the 2020 NU Teaching Awards in following nominations:

Leadership in Teaching:

Dr. Ben Tyler, Computer Science Department

Innovative Teaching:

Dr. Abid Nadeem, Civil and Environmental Engineering Department

Since 2017, the Nazarbayev University has been awarding outstanding teaching. Candidates are nominated by the University Schools and Departments, and judged by the NU Learning and Teaching Committee. As part of the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Nazarbayev University, 2 new nominations were added, so in total there were 8 nominations in 2020.

The NU Learning and Teaching Committee faced a difficult task, since the teaching staff of Nazarbayev University is very strong, each teacher makes a significant contribution to the education process.
