Professor Essam Shehab, Head of the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department invites you to Zoom guest talk “Delivering Change at Amazon” from the EU On-Road Senior Process Improvement Manager of Amazon Logistics – Mr. Robert Salloum.
Mr. Robert Salloum’s background is in Mechanical Engineering where he graduated with a B.Eng. from the American University of Beirut, followed by a MSc. degree in Product Development and Management from Cranfield University. Once complete, Robert Salloum worked as a Digital Manufacturing project lead at Rolls-Royce until 2020 looking at digital transformation of Turbines plants across the Derby and Sheffield plants. His current Role is in AMZL Logistics as a Process Improvement Manager for the EU leading cost improvement projects to support driver workload, retention and capacity as well as strategic projects to improve AMZL’s efficiency overall.
Mr. Robert will share a quick overview of Amazon, structure and goals. He will also talk about the process of influencing change at a scale. How they manage stakeholder to deliver results and earn trust.
